What are my shipping options?

Well it’s free! Just fill in the shipping page and the guys at Fastway Couriers or Post Net will insure that you receive you CrateworX crate. Typically your crate will arrive within 48 hours, if not sooner, if you are in a major center.

• If your address is outside the listed major centers, CrateworX may determine to send your crate via Post Net. Your crate will then be delivered to your local Post Net. Delivery in this case will still be free.
• Fastway defines an outlying area as being more than 50KM from their main centres.
• Orders received before 12:00 will be collected by Fastway on the same day, excluding weekends and public holidays.If you are paying by Direct Bank transfer, please send us the payment confirmation. This will enable us to dispatch your order as soon as you order. If you are using Payfast you will not have to send through any confirmations.
• Please insure that you provide an address that you will be at between 09:00 and 17:00, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
• You will be able to track your order via the Fastway tracking site: http://www.fastway.co.za/
• As we use a third party partner to deliver your crate we can’t be responsible for delays in delivery. Please visit the Fastway website for their delivery terms.

From time to time we receive a complaint that somebody couldn’t open their crate. We have therefore decided to list a comprehensive set of opening instructions. Here we go..

What is a Duct Tape Wrap?

CrateworX doesn’t have any wrapping paper in our garage, sorry… but we do have tons of duct tape.  If you’re dead-set on sending a gift that is “wrapped” and properly difficult to get into and that will provide minutes of extra stress, choose the Diabolical Duct Tape wrap during checkout. Just think of all the things you can then stick with the left over Duct Tape….

I have a great idea for a Crate!

We don’t do live spiders! Just to let you know. Every guy has his limit, so don’t ask. However if you have a cool idea or you would like us to put together a special crate, let us know and we will hammer it together and send you a personal quote.

Purchase an empty crate and stock it yourself. We will send you all tools necessary to do your own CrateworX crate.

Crate Lids.

You will see that our lids are decorated to stir some deep down primal fear that requires serious courage for the recipient to open. We would suggest that there always be a crowd, preferably recording the event, so said recipient can’t chicken out and by all accounts man up and open the crate!

On the other hand you may also get a lid that has been decorated by one of the rug rats. Now these are serious pieces of art work and will be worth a fortune one day, if the fridge door and preschool teachers are to be believed……

If you would like us to seal your crate with a blank lid so that you can decorate the lid yourself, please leave us a note in the “Delivery Instructions” section. The crate will arrive sealed and filled with awesome stuff, but the lid artwork will be up to you.
